The project was a phased Tenant Improvement of four floors (5,600sqm each) of a six-storey office building. It required the phasing and planning to maintain facility staff operation at 100% during the renovation while replacing more than 60 Water Source Heat Pumps (SWHP). The new WSHPs were integrated into the existing boiler and cooling tower hydronic system while maintaining operation of the remaining building zones outside of the active phase. Multiple accessible washrooms and shower rooms were added to the facility as well as a break room/kitchenette was added to each floor. The existing sprinkler system was revised to match the updated floorplan.
